The Pavilion rules
A useful local cricket community, open to adults of every background and experience level.
Keep it friendly and about the game.
Respect others. No racism, harassment, threats, hateful content, spam or impersonation. Competitive opinions are welcome; personal abuse is not.
Protect people’s privacy.
Don’t post private contact information, addresses, identity documents or children’s details. Keep availability to broad areas and times. All posts and replies are public.
Make player requests useful.
Include the date, broad area, format, expected experience and how the organizer will confirm arrangements. Close a request when it is filled. Requests expire after their stated date.
Be clear about your role.
Don’t claim to speak for a club, league or the site unless you are authorized. Profiles are self-described. A post is not a verified event, booking, league announcement or endorsement.
Share what you have the right to share.
Write in your own words. Link to official results and announcements. Don’t copy paywalled or restricted score databases, photographs or articles into a discussion.
Use the report button.
Signed-in members can report posts and replies. Three distinct member reports hide an item pending review. Moderators can remove content and restore items after review. Moderation is not monitored around the clock; contact emergency services for immediate danger.
You stay in control.
Make your passport public only if you want it listed. Manage notification preferences, remove your content or delete your account at any time. We may remove access for abuse.
