What an account stores
We store your username, display name, a salted password hash, a hashed recovery code, your optional cricket profile, posts and replies, alert preferences and account dates. Email-link accounts store your private email address, verification date and short-lived hashed sign-in tokens. Passwordless accounts do not store a password or recovery code. Existing username/password accounts can optionally verify an email; accounts never merge merely because names match. We do not require a phone number. Never post another person’s contact details or a child’s personal information.
Public and private
Posts, replies and your display name are public. Your cricket passport is private until you choose to publish it. A public passport includes the information shown in its preview: your display name, username, broad area, cricket interests and availability. It is self-described, not a verified playing record. Passwords, recovery hashes, sessions, reports, push subscriptions and saved alert preferences are not public.
Cookies and browser storage
A necessary, secure session cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. Existing My Cricket shortlists and checklists use browser storage on your device. We do not use account registration to subscribe you to advertising emails.
Notifications
In-app notifications tell you about replies to your conversations when enabled. Browser push requires a separate click and your browser’s permission. We store the browser’s encrypted push endpoint and keys to deliver these updates through its push provider. Notifications contain a general update and link, rather than the full reply. Live-match preferences are saved for future coverage; no live match feed is active at this release.
Hosting and service providers
Cloudflare hosts the site, database and transactional sign-in email delivery. Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes, work once and require confirmation on the website. Token records are removed after expiry plus a one-day cleanup window. Browser push may use Google, Mozilla, Apple or Microsoft depending on your browser. These providers may process data in other countries. Short-lived, hashed network identifiers help limit abusive requests; they are not used to build advertising profiles.
Retention and deletion
Sessions expire after 30 days. Notifications are retained for up to 90 days and abuse-rate counters for up to two days. You can remove your posts and replies, make your passport private, disable notifications or delete your account from My account. Deleting an account removes its public contributions, profile details, sessions and notification subscriptions; a non-personal tombstone preserves database relationships. Provider backups may retain prior data until their retention period ends.
Score sheets and local records
Scorebook uploads are private to the contributor and authorized reviewers. AI extraction is optional and sends the uploaded sheet to Cloudflare Workers AI to prepare an unverified draft. We publish reviewed adult player names, team names, match facts and statistics; we do not publish original files. You must have permission to contribute the sheet and statistics. Do not upload children’s information or private contact details. Unsubmitted drafts expire after 90 days of inactivity. Account deletion removes private originals during daily cleanup; reviewed historical match statistics can remain public. Discuss a correction in the Pavilion without posting private documents.
Contacting Rohit
The enquiry form shares the details and consent you submit with Rohit Dua and Real Estate Partners through our Cloudflare intake, GoHighLevel CRM and Resend internal alerts. Contact details are private and are not added to your public cricket profile. The form does not enrol you in marketing or send automatic customer emails or texts. Contact the team to request access, correction or deletion of enquiry information. These services may process data outside Canada.
Calling or emailing Rohit uses your chosen phone or email service. Information you give him to discuss real estate is handled by him and his team for that enquiry, separately from your cricket account. You do not need an account to contact him.
Age and safety
Accounts are for adults aged 18 and over. Guardians should use official club routes for junior enquiries. We do not ask for exact birth dates, home addresses, identity documents or private player records.
