The details that make
the numbers meaningful.
Match identity & source
Include the date, season, competition, division, format, ball type, adult category, teams, ground and original source. Keep stable source match and player IDs when available.
Player figures & unknown values
Use one row per player for one match. Keep unknown fields blank; enter 0 only for a confirmed zero. Batted and dismissed use 0 or 1. Bowling uses legal balls, not decimal overs. Preserve names as written and flag uncertain identities.
Permission & private information
Share only material you are entitled to contribute. Organizer permission may still need scoring-provider approval. Leave out private contact details, children’s records and credentials. Original uploads stay private to the contributor and reviewers.
What the current scorebook supports
The current review flow handles one completed adult limited-overs match, one batting innings per team and up to 30 player rows. A single-match CSV, image, PDF or text sheet can prepare a draft. Multi-innings matches, super overs, abandoned games and multi-match season files need separate handling; do not force them into the current form.
Optional AI prepares a draft. You check it, then an admin reviews it before any figures count in public rankings. A submitted sheet is not automatically a published record.
